Eurobike. 25 acres of cycling heaven, which for one reason or another, I never manage to visit. I usually have to console myself with drooling over photos from the exhibition, like these ones which Mat Brett from has kindly let me publish. Mat was lucky enough to visit Viner’s stand, and really take in the details on the new 2012 models.

Mat has managed to get to the bottom of the changes to the Maxima RS2, particularly the new rear end. The image above shows the re-modelled, flattened chainstays which improve comfort, and the replaceable carbon rear drop outs, which help to shave weight.

Below is the new aero profiled fork, including some neat cable guides.

Re-designed seat stays/seat post joint.

RS2 head tube, showing the neat internal cabling system.

Beautifully sculpted BB area. The RS2 can be built for any of the bottom bracket systems out there.

The new Mitus 0,5 is essentially last year’s Maxima RS, with a few tweaks. Costing less than the RS, the Mitus looks a good value buy.
